Managed infrastructure and cloud migration for a leading international agency's global campaign websites
How Softescu provided managed infrastructure services for a leading international development agency — migrating a portfolio of global campaign websites to AWS, implementing CloudFlare CDN, managing SSL certificates, and providing dedicated uptime support during high-visibility international events.
Technologies: AWS, CloudFlare, Linux, SSL/TLS, cPanel, DevOps
The Challenge
A leading international development agency needed reliable infrastructure management for a portfolio of global campaign websites tied to sustainable development goals — including awards platforms, advocacy microsites, and global initiative portals reaching audiences worldwide. These properties required consistent uptime, particularly during high-traffic moments such as international awards ceremonies and major anniversary events.
The existing infrastructure was fragmented across legacy hosting providers, with no systematic approach to monitoring, SSL certificate lifecycle management, or cloud scalability. The agency needed a technical partner to consolidate infrastructure on modern cloud platforms, implement proactive monitoring, and provide hands-on support during critical live events.
Our Solution
Softescu delivered a full managed infrastructure engagement covering cloud migration, monitoring, security, and operational support. The team migrated the website portfolio from legacy hosting to AWS, provisioning and configuring EC2 instances for each property and implementing CloudFlare CDN to improve global delivery performance and resilience. SSL certificate management was systematised across all domains, with monitoring and renewal processes put in place to prevent service disruptions.
Uptime monitoring was established across the full site portfolio with email alerting for incident response. During major events — including international awards ceremonies and significant global anniversary commemorations — Softescu provided dedicated infrastructure support, monitoring live traffic and managing capacity to ensure availability under peak load. Security hardening covered database configurations, malware detection procedures, and platform patches across all managed properties.
