Softescu is looking to increase the team with a Business  Development Manager that will bring value to potential customers around the world to create the next generation of digital transformation applications.

 

You will grow Softescu's existing client base, which has a high percentage of Fortune 500 brands on its track record. Our clients include SealedAir, Diversey, Harvard Medical School, Nasdaq, World Trade Organization, United Nations, NTT Data.

 

Manage all sales and post-sales activities by generating and building new and strong relationships with potential customers, learning about our software services, and planning and tracking contractual milestones in direct link with the top management team. 

 

You are seen as a trusted expert in using the latest versions of Drupal, Angular and .NET to create digital applications because you maintain a deep understanding of the technology and discuss with customers the most relevant services for their specific needs. 

 

Navigate complex organizations with confidence and proactively reduce churn risks. Build strong cross-functional relationships internally within Softescu so you can easily pull project estimates or solutions. Your clients easily get the results they want and get maximum value from us.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in representing Softescu to potential clients within your assigned portfolio, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support negotiations and discussions with clients, learning from senior team members and gradually taking on more responsibilities as you gain experience.
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with potential clients through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and attending relevant events, under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Assist in identifying and overcoming barriers to new business generation within your assigned portfolio, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the design team to refine and deliver pitches for potential clients, learning from experienced colleagues.
  • Support the sales team in achieving and exceeding targets for your assigned portfolio, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist in creating opportunities for discussions with potential clients, learning about Softescu's solutions and best practices from experienced team members.
  • Provide support in writing and submitting proposals to bids and tenders under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Participate in conferences and commercial interest groups on behalf of Softescu, accompanied by senior team members.
  • Support the transition between sales and delivery processes, learning from senior team members how to facilitate smooth collaboration.
  • Learn to create and maintain customer profiles, identifying potential risks and coordinating responses under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in soliciting input and feedback from customers through surveys, under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Report issues affecting goal achievement to senior team members and key stakeholders, under their guidance.
  • Learn to influence product design decisions by understanding customer needs and preferences, with support from senior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide assistance as new products and services are introduced to customers, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Learn to improve team effectiveness by observing and assisting with mentoring new hires and enhancing customer success processes under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Utilize in-house software to record and schedule activities related to portfolio management, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Learn to react quickly and consistently to maximize activity within your assigned portfolio, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-discipline in learning and contributing to new business initiatives, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Ensure your continuing education needs are met by actively participating in Softescu's training program and staying updated on relevant technologies.

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Exposure to B2B environments and client interactions, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow in this area.

  • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or Management.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in a second foreign language considered advantageous.
