Our designers work along side product owners and developers to understand the business needs. Part of the proces, we use hold workshops with the target audience to test and improve prototypes before delivering the final designs.

We have adopted the following process in 7 steps:

Discovery process

We start with a thorough analysis of your requirements to identify all expected features and workflows. We interview people in our target audience to understand how their expectations will be met by the proposed functions. We also gather their level of understanding of the product or service you want to build. Interviews are conducted online or in person and recorded. If we test an existing application or portal, we also record all user interactions.

User journey

Live demos with your target audience give us the opportunity to see where the pain points are and how to eliminate them. Based on all the information gained during the discovery process and subsequent user interviews, we defined user goals and adjust the user workflows.

Structure and navigation

User interviews also reveal which sections of your application are essential and which are less or will never be used. Interviews allow us to adjust the structure and also adopt an optimal navigation structure for our application or portal, where only the key elements are visible, while all the others are pushed back behind the secondary levels.

Design Schemes & Prototype

A wireframe is a two-dimensional illustration of a page's interface. It focuses in particular on the allocation of space and the prioritization of the content and functionalities. Once the design schemes demonstrate that the new design is functional, we create functional low-fidelity clickable prototypes.

Design patterns

Based on customer feedback, one of the prototypes is selected and further developed into a high-fidelity version by adding aesthetic elements and design patterns; we pay special attention to the general usability and aesthetics of the design.

User testing

The high-fidelity prototype is then prepared for a user testing session to verify that our assumptions are correct and that the new project is meeting its intended purpose.

Handoff for developers

We complete the process with a submission to the development team, and for that we use Invision. Along with clear instructions placed in a Design Guide, the process continues with the next step: developing the portal or application.
