Drupal HackCamp 2018: A Focus on Security, Drupal, and GDPR
This June, we'll be in Bucharest for Drupal HackCamp 2018. From the 8th to 10th of June, we'll be attending the first Drupal Camp dedicated to Security, Privacy, GDPR, and Authentication.
Join us at this groundbreaking event where participants can delve into critical aspects of web security and data protection. The conference offers comprehensive learning opportunities, including understanding cyber-attack prevention in Drupal, exploring the latest developments in data protection, mastering secure integration between Drupal and NodeJS applications, and gaining deeper insights into client privacy practices.
The event features an impressive roster of more than 20 international speakers, including notable keynote presenters:
- Preston So, Director of Research and Innovation at Acquia
- Jessica (known in the community as XJM), Code and Community Strategist at Acquia
- Jasper Mattsson, recognized for discovering the Drupal core Highly-critical Remote Code Execution vulnerability
We're particularly proud to announce that three of our colleagues from Softescu have been selected as speakers, each bringing unique expertise to the conference:
- Adrian, CEO at Softescu, will present strategies for implementing ISO27001 in Drupal Agencies
- Ionut, CTO at Softescu, will share insights from "10 Years of Drupal: A Security Perspective"
- Madalina, Senior Frontend Developer at Softescu, will explore the crucial topic of Frontend Security
While some of our speakers are experienced presenters at camps and training sessions, others are stepping onto the stage for the first time. Our entire team will be there to support not only our colleagues but also our friends from the broader Drupal community.
Drupal HackCamp 2018 serves as both a technical conference and learning event, designed to benefit a diverse audience including developers, DevOps professionals, marketers, security engineers, and end-users interested in web development and security with Drupal. The conference will feature extensive coverage of GDPR, a critical topic in 2018, making it particularly valuable for marketing professionals seeking to understand data protection regulations.
Adding to the event's appeal, each ticket includes a Guided Tour of Bucharest, offering visitors the chance to explore one of Eastern Europe's most dynamic cities. All sessions will be conducted in English, so participants should have a basic understanding of the language.
